Summer – Al fresco gets fancy
Enjoying a drink in the sunshine is no longer about plastic pints of cider welcoming the wasps, as this year sees the rise of the pre-mixed or batch cocktails for all summer events. Negronis, margaritas, espresso martinis, you name it! THE PERFECT CUP: When a fancy glass serve simply isn’t an option, it’s all about making a statement with the Instagrammable cup that’s simply a must to be seen holding. CUPkind’s bespoke branding options , available on every item in our range, mean you have a blank canvas to bring your perfect eye-catching and sustainable branding to life for the hottest summer events.
Autumn / Winter – Pumpkin-spice EVERYTHING
Not a new trend but one that continues to grow in strength every single year. #Pumpkinspice season kicks off as summer gives way to autumn each year – with the numbers of people searching for it online increasing by 174% (August – September). It then shoots up again by another 83% (September – October).[^1] Whatever you’re serving, make sure there’s a heady dose of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg involved. THE PERFECT CUP: Whether it’s hot or iced spice, the double-walled cup is your best friend for keeping your carefully crafted beverage at the perfect temperature (and when things get festive, they’re ideal for Christmas mulled wine to-go at winter markets).
New Year – New sustainable smoothies
Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean cold drinks take a back seat – January is the time for all things health-focused, with detox smoothies leading the charge. After the fresh fruit and salad shortage of spring 2023, expect sustainability to have a bigger influence as consumers take stock of the air miles involved in utilising fresh fruit that’s out of season on our shores, opting instead for more home-grown produce. THE PERFECT CUP: A lukewarm smoothie just doesn’t hit our tired January tastebuds the way we desire. The best juices and smoothies include plenty of ice to wake up our minds along with our bodies. CUPkind’s cold cups create the perfect chilled serve whilst aligning with sustainable values far better than the single-use plastic smoothie cups you so often see.
